Alt. Title: "The death of Unifaction(?)"
over 24 hours ago, I noticed the sites go down and they have not been up since.
Now, I am not a member of the staff of Unifaction or Unicreatures, nor am I even a REALLY prominent member of the site despite being a part of it for about 7 years (wow) . . .
Despite this I am still very much in love with the website, it's creative air, and it's wonderful people. The idea that it may be down, and down for good, is very saddening to me.
In this troubling time many people in the community have scrambled together and we're all trying to sort out what happened. Sedith and Weezee are among us and hope to get us information from the site's owner, I believe.
If he abandoned it, it's really terrible to think that someone can just walk away from a huge and old project like this... you would think he might have at least given the site to those who want it still. . . Maybe even given some warning.
I'll try to keep this updated as more information comes to light. Right now I think we're just trying to scrape together as much information as we have and console each other.

A bit of re-cap first. In my last blog post here, I explained how the Uni-sites are officially down and why. This makes this DA group a bit obsolete, but if anyone makes art to be nostalgic or has old art they want to share, feel free to submit to the group still!
The loss of our sites we loved so much is saddening, yet you can see that so many of us have gotten together here or on other sites (Facebook, DragonCave, Aywas, etc) to prove that we are still a close family!
Also stated on the last post, respected admins of the Uni-verses (including Weezee and Seidh) are building a

This is going to be a long post because I really want to get as much info out there, but first let me just get this over and said quickly: The sites appear to be gone for good.
I don't know how much you guys know about the leadership of the sites, I didn't really know them well, so I want to explain that first.
In the past there were plenty of staff members, that's a fact known to anyone who went to the thread listing current and past staff, but at the time right before it shut down there were really just 3. Seidh (Scott), our admin in red text, Peg
Group Favorites
There were a bunch of art here on DA that would be in our group, I submitted them to be, but the requests expired. I believe those users probably just aren't active here anymore, or perhaps just deleted the request instead of answering.
In any case, I added them to the group's Favorites instead of the Gallery. Since that doesn't alert you guys in notifications I'm letting you know now with this.
There's 24 I think there. If later there is more art that doesn't end up in our gallery, but instead our favorites, I will update this entry.

If it wouldn't be allowed on Unifaction, it won't be allowed here. No sexual or horrific themes, no more gore than the site normally has (some blood).

The odd thing is that the domain and server contract had only been renwed very recently, and until 2017.
